They started showing Family Guy right before The Simpsons on Star World.I think the yellow whackos still trumps Family Guy tho. Cos FG is more chuckle-under-your-breath-sorta-hurhur while TS is a straight-up-and-loud-sorta-HAHA! um... if you know what I mean. Being too critical (or even cynical) takes much joy out of things. It's like in jc when we got into the phase of things being 'lame'. Suddenly jokes weren't funny anymore. Thank goodness it was a fleeting phase. Heh. Anw today's was one of the most enjoyable Simpsons epis I've seen. What with Metallica, The Godfather, chocolate souffles and poisoned meatball pasta all rolled in one. And all this in under 30 mins. NICE :) Just what I needed after a day like this. A day when I just have to sit back and try to find humour. Saturday, April 26, 2008, 5:25 PM

I heard this on the radio this evening, and thought I just had to share it. Managed to find it online.. :p--- Why do men die first? This is a question that has gone unanswered for centuries, but, now we know. It requires a bit of explanation, first: If you put a woman on a pedestal and try to protect her from the rat race ... you're a male chauvinist. If you stay home and do the housework ... you're a pansy. If you work too hard ... there's never any time for her. If you don't work enough ... you're a good-for-nothing bum. If she has a boring repetitive job with low pay ... this is exploitation. If you have a boring repetitive job with low pay ... you should get off your lazy behind and find something better. If you get a promotion ahead of her ... that is favoritism.. If she gets a job ahead of you ... its equal opportunity. If you mention how nice she looks ... its sexual harassment. If you keep quiet ... its male indifference. If you cry ... you're a wimp. If you don't ... you're an insensitive bastard. If you make a decision without consulting her ... you're a chauvinist. If she makes a decision without consulting you, she's a liberated woman. If you ask her to do something she doesn't enjoy ... that's domination. If SHE asks you ... it's a favor. If you appreciate the female form and frilly underwear ... you're a pervert. If you don't ... you're gay. If you like a woman to shave her legs and keep in shape ... you're sexist. If you don't ... you're unromantic. If you try to keep yourself in shape .... you're vain. If you don't ... you're a slob. If you buy her flowers ... you're after something. If you don't ... you're not thoughtful. If you're proud of your achievements ... you're full of yourself. If you aren't ... you're not ambitious. If she has a headache ... she's tired. If you have a headache ... you don't love her anymore. If you want it too often ... you're oversexed. If you don't ... there must be someone else. Why do men die first? BECAUSE THEY WANT TO! I can still remember my first day of school. Being a transfer kid (spent a bit of time at Nan Chiau first) before moving to KCP, I remember hating to have to make the change and having to leave my friends. I remember kicking and crying my way to class, with my maid having to sorta drag me. Well I'm sure Mrs Desker didn't call me Cry Baby for no reason. :) Friday, April 4, 2008, 2:45 AM
"We lose so much in life - sobriety, solvency, and sanity. We lose jobs and chances, and we lose at love. We lose youth and its vigour, idealism and its dreams. We lose much, but we never lose our place on God's "whoever" list. Whoever - God's wonderful word of welcome." For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16 it's so true, i've realised. that when everything else is stripped away, or taken out of the equation.. the only thing that remains, the one and only constant.. is God.
