Phuket
There is a certain charm about Phuket.
The most perfect beaches, the clear-blue skies... top it up with a Singha or a fresh coconut, and you get pure bliss.
We were there over Good Friday weekend, and stayed at the Hilton, which was on the idyllic Karon beach. It was quiet, peaceful. The only thing I had to care about was not to get washed out by the waves.
And boy, was that a challenge!
In the evening we managed to catch sunset. It was breathtaking, soaking in God's majesty, and marvelling at his creations.
We were pretty much the only non-thai Asians there, and it's little wonder why these AMs would travel halfway across the world, just to be on this island.
The people are warm, the food fantastic..
This truly is the land of a thousand smiles.
I came back itching for the next trip already ;)
